Anne Démy-Geroe is the joint President of NETPAC, lectures on Asia Pacific Cinema at Griffith Film School and serves as the director of the Asia Pacific Screenlab. She is also an academy member of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards. She was the inaugural Artistic Director of the Brisbane International Film Festival from 1991 until 2010, and established the Iranian Film Festival Australia in 2011, for which she continues to advise.
Her book, Iranian National Cinema, was published by Routledge in 2020. Her most recent publication is Just 6.5: a new Modulation on the Social Issues Film, a chapter in Handbook of Iranian Cinema (Taurus, 2024). Anne is a past Council Member of the National Film and Sound Archive.In 2003, she was awarded an Australian Centenary Medal for services to the film industry.

Raman Chawla, a seasoned film curator and film festival organizer, brings over three decades of experience in shaping the cultural landscape of cinema. With a decade-long tenure at the Embassy of France in India (1985 -1995), he played a pivotal role in fostering Indo-French collaboration in film, television, and cultural media.
In 1995, he founded Modern Times, a creative workshop for Film, TV & Theatre (1995-2005), and later served as Senior Vice President at Osian’s-Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema (1995-2015), contributing significantly to its prestige. Raman’s expertise extends globally, serving as a Consultant Programmer for various international film festivals, including Abu Dhabi Film Festival (2010-2014) in the UAE, and in El Gouna Film Festival from 2017 until now.

Salma Mobarak is a Professor of Comparative Literature and Literature and Arts at Cairo University. Her research crosses the fields of comparative literature, cinema studies, and the fields of cinema/history.
Expert member of the “Civilization Committee” of the Arabic Language Academy for writing the first dictionary of cinema in Egypt, member of the cultural management committee of the High Council of Culture, and jury member of several literary and cinematographic competitions.
She is the founder of the network of researchers in literature and cinema “Amoun” (2015), co-founder of the cultural development diploma at Cairo University (2012) and film criticism diploma at Ain Shams University (2016). She is also the founder and animator of the Ciné-club of the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University since 2006.Salma Mobarak publishes regularly in French and Arabic.
