 Imran Hamdulay is a Cape Town–based writer and director, and an alumnus of Berlinale Talents and Film Independent, as well as a Robert Bosch Stiftung awardee. He was named one of “Africa’s Directors to Watch” by CNN’s Inside Africa. His feature directorial debut, The Heart Is a Muscle, premiered in the Panorama section at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival.
