Sarah Francis
Sarah Francis is a Lebanese filmmaker and visual artist who grew up and studied in Beirut, graduating from the IESAV institute in 2005. She works in the fields of sculpture, painting, and photography, combining them in her cinematic works. She has directed several internationally awarded films, most notably her first feature film Birds of September (2013), and her second film As Above so below (2020), which screened at the Berlin Film Festival. Her third feature film is Dead Dog.
