Cairo International Film Festival announces a partnership agreement with Fresh to serve as the main and exclusive sponsor in the category of home and electrical appliances for its 46th edition, taking place from November 12 to 21, 2025, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.
This collaboration reflects a shared vision between the festival and leading national institutions that believe in the pivotal role of culture and art in shaping public awareness and strengthening Egyptian identity.
Commenting on the partnership, renowned actor Hussein Fahmy, President of Cairo International Film Festival, said:
“We are proud to welcome Fresh, one of the pillars of national industry, to our family of sponsors. This partnership embodies a deep belief in the value of art as a form of soft power and in cinema’s ability to build bridges of dialogue among nations. The support of major Egyptian institutions is a cornerstone that enables us to deliver an exceptional edition worthy of the legacy of Egyptian cinema and the country’s cultural stature.”
By sponsoring the festival, Fresh reaffirms its firm commitment to supporting major initiatives and events that celebrate Egyptian creativity and contribute to the advancement of society. This partnership reflects the company’s belief that the seventh art is a universal language fostering cultural understanding—an ethos that perfectly aligns with the festival’s mission as a leading platform for dialogue among the world’s diverse cultures.
Cairo International Film Festival is one of the oldest and most prestigious film festivals in the Arab world and Africa, and the only one in the region classified as a “Category A” festival by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) in Paris. Established in 1976, it is held annually under the auspices of Egypt’s Ministry of Culture.
