Cairo International Film Festival celebrates short films in its 45th edition through an opening ceremony for short films at the Grand Theatre and a cash prize of $5,000 granted by Drosos Foundation for the best Arab short film. Additionally, the festival is launching a non-competitive section for showcasing the latest works of promising Egyptian filmmakers.
