Story of Cielo, a mother whose teenage daughter is kidnapped in Northern Mexico. When the authorities offer no support in the search, Cielo takes matters into her own hands and transforms from a housewife into a vengeful militant.

Teodora Ana Mihai
Born in Bucharest, under Ceausescu’s regime. In ‘89 she joined her parents in Belgium. She discovered her love for cinema as a high school student in San Francisco and went on to study film in New York. Back in Belgium, she started working as a script supervisor and assistant director. Her debut ‘Waiting for August’ was awarded with over 10 international prizes and nominated for the European Film Awards.
