Synopsis
According to Dominican culture, male teenagers transitioninto the "tigueres" stage, which represents the highest modelof masculinity. Alberto, the camp coach for these teenagers,decides that it is time for his son Pablo to join this group,unaware that Pablo has already become a "tigueres." It is ajourney of self-discovery amid struggles.

José María CabralA director and screenwriter from the Dominican Republic,born in Santo Domingo in 1988, he is known for his films thatfocus on social issues, shedding light on the complexitiesof Dominican culture and identity. Cabral holds significantimportance as a director in the Dominican Republic, being thefirst Dominican filmmaker to participate in the Sundance FilmFestival with his film "Woodpeckers" in 2017. The film was alsoselected by the Dominican Republic to represent the country inthe Oscars for Best International Feature Film.
