Synopsis

About the Director
Director and screenwriter. He began his career at sixteen as an amateur filmmaker. Debuting with the film FAMILY NEST, Tarr began his directorial career with a brief period of what he refers to as "social cinema", aimed at telling everyday stories about ordinary people. He is the president of the Hungarian Filmmakers’ Association, and has been given the most prestigious Hungarian prize for artists: Kossuth Prize. He was named a Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres and was honored with several remarkable national, international awards, honorary doctorates and life achievement awards.
