Synopsis

After being tricked and cast out of Baghdad by the evil Jaffar, King Ahmad joins forces with a thief named Abu to reclaim his throne, the city, and the Princess he loves. Drawing on the legendary tales of One Thousand and One Night and eastern culture, The Thief of Baghdad directors create a captivating visual experience. About the Director

Ludwig Berger, a German director and writer from Mainz, is known for The Thief of Bagdad and Dream Ballerina. He was a jury member at the 6th Berlin International Film Festival. Michael Powel, a British director known for his innovative style, particularly in collaboration with Emeric Pressburger at The Archers. Tim Whelan, an American film director, writer, producer, and actor, is best remembered for his writing credits on Harold Lloyd and Harry Langdon comedies, as well as for directing mostly British films
