Synopsis
on 20th of December, 1989, and Ceaușescu’s regime is on its last legs. The army violently suppresses an uprising in Timișoara, but any news that reaches Bucharest is scant and sanitized. Six people find themselves in the eye of the storm without realizing it.

About the Director
Bogdan Mureșanu Bogdan Mureșanu is an award-winning Romanian writer and director born in 1974. His career began in 2008 with the script for The Human Torch (Best Short, TIFF script writing competition). Mureșanu is best known for Sandals, which won numerous international awards, including the Youth Jury Award at Clermont-Ferrand in 2020. He directed The Christmas Gift, which won the European Film Academy Award for Best Short Film in 2019 and 72 awards globally.
