About the Director
Yasmina El Kamaly is a filmmaker and visual artist from Cairo, Egypt. She studied Directing at the High Cinema Institute in Cairo and worked as an assistant director and casting director in the film industry for four years. In 2022, she co-founded Glifics and currently works as head of film acquisition & programming. She is also an accomplished video artist, with her work showcased at the Being Borrowed exhibition in 2022.
