Synopsis

Alone, Salma tries to find a solution to her problems after her husband's disappearance, only to face two choices in the end: either to continue the struggle until the end, with all the sacrifices it entails, or to choose her personal salvation with her family.

About the Director

Joud Said Joud Said is a Syrian director and writer born in 1980 in Damascus, Syria. He holds a master's degree in directing from the Louis Lumière School in France (2007). He has a collection of short and feature films that have toured international festivals and won awards, including the Best Arab Film award at the San Francisco Film Festival, the Golden Prize in the Horizons of Arab Cinema Competition at the Cairo International Film Festival, and the Best Script award at the Oran International Arabic Film Festival.
