Synopsis
In a race against time, an immigrant mother in Los Angeles' San Gabriel Valley is stricken by the discovery of her unstable teenage son's violent obsessions, as she uncovers his obsession with mass shootings. She must go to great lengths and take desperate measures to protect him, and possibly others, in this intimate portrait of a Chinese American family. Inspired by true events, ROSEMEAD marks the feature directorial debut of acclaimed cinematographer Eric Lin.

About the Director
He began filmmaking while studying sociology and film studies at UC Berkeley. He is best known for his cinematography on The Exploding Girl, The Sound of Silence, and Hearts Beat Loud. His NYU MFA short Music Palace screened at Telluride and New Directors/New Films. Rosemead marks his feature directorial debut.
