Synopsis
Based on the classic by Alexandros Papadiamantis, "Murderess" the story is set on a remote island in Greece, circa 1900. There, Hadoula, trapped in her own mother's rejection, struggles to survive the dictates of a patriarchal society.

About the Director
Born on the island of Crete, she studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where she was taught by prominent artists and set designers. She worked as an assistant in set design for a while before moving on to work in theater and cinema alongside renowned Greek directors such as Costa-Gavras and Pantelis Voulgaris. She has been awarded the State Prize for Costume Design three times.
