Synopsis

Lebanon, 1958. Layla, a young mother and model wife, spends the summer in a remote village while a civil war rages. She has an eye opening encounter with a French guy.

About the Director

Born in Lebanon, he left for France where he enlisted in the ENSAD and the National Theater of Strasbourg. He has worked under the direction of prestigious directors such as Matthias Langhoff. He came back to Lebanon after an encounter with the director Ghassan Salhab. In 2008 he wrote, directed and acted in THE NORTH ROAD, his first short film.
