Synopsis

Divided into two chapters, Miracle follows young nun, Cristina (19) as she sneaks out of her isolated monastery to attend to an urgent matter. Her enigmatic journey takes her around town, but she is seemingly unable to solve her problem and find the man she is looking for. Out of options, she returns in the evening only to meet an unexpected fate on her way back to the convent.

About the Director

Romanian filmmaker, born in 1976. In 2010, he directed "Outbound". The film screened and won awards at prestigious festivals (Locarno, Toronto, Rotterdam, Thessaloniki). In 2019 he directed "Unidentified", which won the Special Jury Prize at the Warsaw International Film Festival. "Miracle" is his third feature film. As a producer working in the US, Bogdan produced many films that won awards at the Sundance Film Festival, were selected at Cannes and other major festivals. He teaches Directing at Columbia University in New York.
