Synopsis
After five years in prison for a corruption case, Djamel is released. He discovers that his wife sold their luxurious apartment and emptied their accounts before disappearing with their only son. Djamel returns to his birthplace, where unexpected revelations about his past await.

About the Director
An Algerian journalist, novelist, and filmmaker, has created four short films: The Porthole (2012), The Level Crossing (2014), The Voyage de Keltoum (2016), and La Nuit d’Abed (2023). His films have participated in numerous international festivals. His first feature film, Life After (2021), received several awards, including the Golden Tanit for Best First Work, the TV5 Monde Prize, and the African Critics Prize at the Carthage Film Days, in addition to being featured in around twenty international festivals. Land of Vengeance is considered his second feature film.
