Synopsis
Based on an inspirational true story, I Swear charts the journey of John Davidson, a 15-year-old Scottish man whose promising life was shattered in 1983 by the sudden onset of Tourette's syndrome. At a time when the condition was barely understood, John developed uncontrollable tics. Feeling deeply ostracized by society and his own family, he retreated into years of isolation, burdened by the anxiety, shame, and loneliness that accompany the neurological disorder. His story highlights a remarkable personal challenge and triumph.
