About the Director
Sara Mesfer Sara Mesfer is a Saudi filmmaker holds a bachelor degree in Cinematic Art from Effat university, Saudi Arabia. Her latest film "The Girls who Burned the Night" got the Special Mention Award at Palm Spring international ShortFest in 2021 And The Jury Special Mention award in Cairo International Film Festival's 42nd edition. Fatima Al Banawi: After pioneering in Saudi’s submission to the Oscars Barakah Meets Barakah, AlBanawi worked as an actress, writer, and director. Her short film Until We See Light is part of a female led Omnibus, Becoming (2020). During a global pandemic, she set out to film Al-Shak Series that she shot from home, as she developed her first feature, Basma. Jawaher Alamri: Jowaher alamri is a director/producer. her latest film as director is "gathering with Cosmos" from the OMNIBUS feature that was funded by the Redsea film festival foundation in 2020. Jowaher directed "Sadeya left sultan"; a short film that won jury award in SFF 2019. jowaher's first feature is participating in the Redsea lodge "Hala's aziz" Hind Al Fahhad Saudi filmmaker and director, won the Jury Prize at the Dubai international film Festival in 2015 for the best short film for “Basta”,She was jury member at Saudi Film Festival 2017 Noor Alameer Noor Alameer is a Saudi director and writer who has presented several short films such as “My Neighbor is the Wall”a short feature film and “The Bus” a short documentary that won the Best Student Documentary Short Film award in 2017 at the Saudi Film Festival. She was part of the ethnographic feature film “Becoming” in 2020 as a director and writer
