Synopsis

 Azza is a passionate driving teacher for women in Saudi Arabia, but can hardly make ends meet to support her four children. She sets out on a road trip to the desert to break away from the daily struggles and to liberate herself from a difficult past.

About the Director

 German filmmaker Stefanie Brockhaus grew up in Munich. She holds a BA in Film Directing from London University of the Arts; her graduation film, JAM, won an award and was shown at MOMA, New York. A graduate of HFF Munich, she has directed several award-winning documentaries, including The Poetess. She is currently an independent filmmaker based in Marseille.
