Synopsis
A struggling mother steals her sister’s bracelet to buy a scooter for her son to deliver her delicious pies, her only source of income. When the scooter is stolen, she takes matters into her own hands and searches all over Beirut, using disguises to blend into different neighborhoods.

About the Director
Mira Shaib is the writer-director of the award-winning short film, Lilacs, which was screened at the 2017 Berlinale 2017. Her feature film, Arzé, was developed through Film Independent’s Global Media Makers (2018), the Red Sea Lodge (2019), and participated in the Torino Film Lab (2020). She earned her MFA in Cinematic Arts from Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia in Montreal and her BA from LAU in Beirut.
