Synopsis

 Half-brothers Saber and Hassanien grow up under a father who favors one and blames the other for every misfortune. Saber’s devotion only deepens the family’s tragedy as he struggles for acceptance.

About the Director

 He was an Egyptian director, screenwriter, producer, and actor, and is considered one of the most prominent figures in classic Egyptian cinema. He was famously nicknamed the "Knight of Romanticism" for his focus on human emotions and internal conflicts in his films, utilizing a poetic and skillful visual language. Despite his early death at the age of 43, he directed approximately 33 films over a period of 16 years.
