About the Director
James Ivory is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. For his work on CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, which he wrote and produced, Ivory won an Oscar and a BAFTA for Best Adapted Screenplay. Upon winning them at the age of 89, Ivory became the oldest-ever winner in any category for both awards. Giles Gardner has been working with James Ivory for over 20 years. He has edited numerous award winning documentaries that regularly are screened at the International Festivals.
