The Ranas, a patriarchal joint family, yearn for the birth of a baby boy, their youngest son falls for an ambitious trans starlet. Their love story slowly illuminates the entire family’s desire for a sexual rebellion.

Bio: Pakistani director whose short film DARLING was the first Pakistani film to premiere at the 76th Venice Film Festival, winning Best Short Film Orizzonti Prize. It went onto TIFF 2019, SXSW 2020. His previous short NICE TALKING TO YOU was at Palm Springs International Shortsfest 2019, and made the BAFTA Shortlist for Best Student Film.
